From Rags to Riches
Students at Dante School, in Saint-Léonard, are mobilizing for Earth Day and making a philanthropic gesture by turning used clothing into money for their school on Thursday, April 26. Family, friends, community, participate by dropping your used textiles at the school on April 26, 2017, before 1 pm.
We are a bilingual school in St. Leonard where every student matters. We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive learning environment in which every student develops to their fullest potential; academically, and socially, while respecting the diversity of the individual and community. It is important for us that every student becomes a successful and productive member of society. Dante is accredited Brundlant school. We are committed to recycling, composting and reusing. Students participate in waste free lunches twice a week and are devoted to packing waste free lunches while reducing the waste in our school.
Spread the word: the heavier, the more it pays.
With this simple and collective gesture, you help children become recycling heroes in addition to giving a chance for our school to receive a scholarship.
Accepted material: All the clothing, handbags, scarfs, hats, gloves, furs, shoes, sheets, towels, curtains, fabrics, trimmings, leather accessories.
You’d like your company to be involved in the Early Childhood Centre’s cause? Nothing could be simpler! Mobilize your employees and call the Super Recyclers to reserve a date when they can pick up the used clothing. The amount collected will be added to the amount collected by the school.
The Super Recyclers mobilize the community around an eco-friendly movement in order to finance specific projects by collecting used clothing.
